ADT and Penten Share $8M+ AUKUS Innovation Challenge Contracts
Advanced Design Technology, alongside fellow Australian company
Penten, has shared in contracts worth more than $8 million through
the Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) following
successful participation in the first AUKUS Innovation Challenge.
The contracts provide critical financial support for ADT to
continue its groundbreaking work in electronic warfare
development while supporting more than 50 local jobs in the
Canberra region.
Minister for Defence Industry and Capability Delivery, Pat
Conroy stated: "I look forward to seeing the cutting-edge
capabilities ADT and Penten will deliver for the Australian
Defence Force and AUKUS to secure a competitive advantage and
deter potential threats to regional security."
The 12-month contracts follow successful participation in stage
one co-development workshops and will support the development
and demonstration of electronic warfare prototypes that address
Australian Defence Force operating requirements.
"These capabilities allow joint AUKUS forces to generate
superior situational awareness and communicate effectively
across all domains in contested environments."
