Advanced Design Technology (ADT) will launch WASP, its next-generation sovereign secure Keyboard, Video and Mouse (KVM) switch, at the Military Communications and Information Systems (MILCIS) conference this November — one of the region's premier gatherings for Defence communications and information systems.
MILCIS brings together Defence, industry and academia to explore the technologies underpinning secure military communications and information systems. It is a fitting stage for WASP, which is purpose-built for organisations that must work across multiple security domains without compromising information assurance.
Trusted separation, Australian made
WASP enables operators to switch seamlessly between connected systems while maintaining trusted separation between security domains. Built on ADT's patent-pending security architecture and independently Common Criteria certified, WASP combines advanced cyber protection, high-speed connectivity and intuitive operation in a compact, USB-powered form factor — designed, built and manufactured in Australia.
"WASP is the product of ADT's sovereign engineering capability — a secure KVM that doesn't force operators to choose between security and productivity. Launching it at MILCIS, in front of the Defence communications community, is exactly where it belongs." — An ADT spokesperson
Why it matters
Modern operations demand access to multiple systems from a single operator position. WASP delivers that access without compromising the separation between networks — in a compact, power-efficient package backed by an Australian supply chain and local engineering support. It is available now as a 2-port variant, with 3- and 4-port variants coming soon, and supports resolutions up to 4K @ 60Hz over Mini DisplayPort 1.4a.
