Advanced Design Technology (ADT) today announced WASP, a sovereign-designed secure Keyboard, Video and Mouse (KVM) switch engineered for the realities of modern multi-domain operations.
Across Defence and national-security environments, operators increasingly need to work across several isolated networks at once — without the cost, clutter and risk of a separate workstation for each. WASP addresses that need directly: a single keyboard, monitor and mouse, switched securely between connected systems, with hardware-enforced isolation that prevents any data path between domains.
Designed and built in Australia
WASP is designed, developed and manufactured in Australia, giving customers genuine sovereign control over a critical piece of secure-computing infrastructure — from supply chain to support. It reflects ADT's focus on dependable, locally engineered capability for the nation's most sensitive environments.
"WASP is about giving operators a simpler, safer desktop. One set of peripherals, hard separation between networks, and the confidence that comes from sovereign design and manufacture." — An ADT spokesperson
Built for independent assurance
From the outset, WASP has been engineered to meet the stringent requirements of the Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Devices — the international benchmark for secure KVM equipment. ADT has entered WASP into formal Common Criteria evaluation and will share certification milestones as they are reached.
